Tian Tan Buddha is a large bronze statue of Buddha Shakyamuni. It's a major centre of Buddhism in HK & is also a popular tourist attraction. Welcome everybody to ask me questions about Hong Kong.

There's no easy way to visit the Buddha. You just have to walk 268 steps uphill and down afterward. The view of the Buddha as well as the surrounding view from above are worth the climb.

A popular HK tourist attraction, Tian Tan Buddha is a large bronze statue of Buddha Shakyamuni. There's a short climb up, should be ok for most - my 3yo managed fine ;) The scenic views are worth it!

Hong Kong tour is not complete without visiting this place. Nice view from the top and you can see beautiful scenery of the island. Wear comfortable clothes as you’ll do lot of walking here.

Most magnificent & soul inspiring place! Even 2 hours queues wait for the cable car ride to get there, but it was definitely worth waiting. Spectacular view! Incredible experience!

It's truly big. Worth the walk up to get a closer look and gaze onto the monestary from above. Going inside requires a ticket, but you can walk around outside for free.
