Visit. This. Shrine. In the concrete and LED jungle that is Tokyo, Meiji Jingu offers an immediate connection back to nature, quiet and the sacred. Visit at dusk for an especially magical experience.
Big shrine dedicated to Emperor Meiji, who opened Japan to the world after long period of self-isolation and after decades made it one of leading countries of the world.

One of the most famous shrines in Japan. You must be amazed at its huge area. The interesting thing that I found is there are displays of wine barrels not only Sake barrels. Please find it!
It's a full experience shrine visit in the heart of Tokyo. Avoid going on a really hot day,or if you do, please take water with you it's easy to loose yourself in the surroundings
